Who's ready for Desert Hot Springs basketball?

Hey, I'm Forrest and I'm a huge sports fan since I can remember!

I've been wanting to get back into basketball to stay active here in Desert Hot Springs, CA. Ideally, I would like to encourage men over 50 years old to form a team so we can get to the Masters Basketball Association conference by 2023.

I love pickup basketball games outdoors, but the wind and varying weather conditions here in DHS can make it tough to play as often as I want. So, I found a place indoors we can use.

It would be cool to find other guys for men's basketball, to shoot some hoops with on a regular basis and play an occasional spontaneous pickup game!

The Game Plan: Pickup games and planned team play throughout the week, with the goal to play in the MBA in Florida by 2023

Location: DHS but all of Coachella Valley is welcome to join in.

Why the MBA Is Important

I'm inspired by the Masters Basketball Association Games that are held in Florida every year, but since I can't get there (yet), I figured, why not form a league here in the beautiful Coachella Valley? Who knows, we might even get to the Florida Masters and show 'em how we take it to the hoop over here on the West Coast!
